KOREA: SEOUL Day 1

Wednesday, January 20, 2016
Hello!

This is a long overdue Korea post that I've been wanting to do. I went in March 2015 for around 2 weeks. Long story short, let's go into the details.

We took Scoot airlines for around S$550, worst money I've paid ever. I lost my luggage when I came back to Singapore and they never found it back. The customer service was slow, and I did not get a reply for the longest time ever. They kept pushing the blame to Singapore Changi Airport and its luggage handling department. Moral of the story is to fly with only full-fledged airlines next time.

We stayed a combination of different Airbnbs in Seoul and Jeju, some were great, some were mediocre, and some were horrible. I'll explain why in the subsequent posts but a tip for booking accommodation on Airbnb is to book one with many good reviews, and make sure to take the time to read all of them to have an expectation of what you are going to stay in.

The actual trip:

adidas Originals LOS Angeles Trainers

Thursday, January 14, 2016

It's back to the days where trainers matters. I've gotten myself a new pair of trainers because the last time I got a pair (or rather 3 pairs) were in 2014. Given the new year, new excuse, I could say that I've not bought a pair of trainers for 1 year!

LA?

Sunday, January 10, 2016
Just looking at the places I wish I can go.

California is one of the most popular states in the US to visit, and I really want to go there. I'm planning some other trips this year but if it all doesn't work out I might just go to CA :)

Check her listing out on airbnb, I'd really like to stay here if I'm going there alone!

Who knows what 2016 has in store for me. :)

Beach Waves and Updates

Thursday, January 7, 2016
Hi everyone,

Just a quick update, since the last time I've posted which was more than half a year back. I'm now doing my undergrad at NTU, majoring in Linguistics. It's a fun major and I've enjoyed myself so far. Hoping to write up stuff related to it next time. Or even a series of post for exchange (that's gonna be 2 years later).

But besides that, I just want to share with you (if anyone even reads it) this hair curling video. It's honestly one of the best out there, albeit long but it really explains how and which side to curl and also some products that will be helpful to curl your hair. Just thought I'd give this youtuber some love as she's quite new but I'm loving her videos. She does some other stuff like cooking videos as well with a Korean touch (yep she's Korean American) and it's really interesting to watch.
